Feel Like A Stranger
A smokin' version
One More Saturday Night
Novelty: "One more FOURTH OF JULY" several times. Very nice to listen to on the 4th!
Jack Straw
This is the song, the show, the version that turned me onto the Dead. So much raw energy!! and of course Bobby flubs the Texas line... in Texas haha
Bird Song
wow a mesmeriszing version evokes dark star at times a true spacey masterpiece, placed song 2 set 2. Really interstellar version
Playin' In The Band
Wow a lot going on in this playin a spacey wild jam where Jerry, brent , and bobby all seem to be in the lead at different times as well as the drums
Excellent Jerry singing with a little gruffness to his voice and bobby is just playing great on this version
Little Red Rooster
Smokey dank and blusey Jerry nailing his solos. Passionate Bobby. Scorcher from Texas
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Hot fast paced rocker to close out the set on the 4th. Speedy but still jam packed
Not Fade Away
Super funky ass version, love the life Brent breathed into this tune his first couple years. This is awesome stuff. Very Jammy intro
Pretty Peggy O
A long, sublime version was a wonderful counterpoint to the Jack Staw Opener.
Wharf Rat
Comes out of a smokin' NFA. Plenty of soul and sound.
