China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
High energy! Please oh please where are the better sound quality versions? Where are the boards?
2
Tennessee Jed
Archive copy sounds like its recorded through a tin can, but excellent groove, jam. For headphones only.
10
Playin' In The Band
Headphones only (sound problems), but so worth it - liquid crystal lightning Jerry jaming at it's best. Deserves many listens.
17
Eyes Of The World
Tight and right, with beautiful jamming and solid groupthink throughout. Headphones only for archive version: HELP US ON THIS ONE CHARLIE MILLER!!!
8
The Other One
Complicated rising and falling arc to the energy, but great jam. Long Truckin>TOO>Eyes in a great 2nd set. Sound quality problems though.
5
Jack Straw
Wouldn't say this is a best version or anything, just a cool '73 version. Mississippi Half Step-> Stella Blue-> Jack Straw
3
Loose Lucy
Such fun. Has a swagger and strut like the best, but a bit more fun and light. Thanks to C. Miller we can hear it now. Cheers, sir!
4
Brown Eyed Women
Pristine rendition, now audible with thanks to C.Miller. This is a peak era Dead, with new sounds and balance even in the straight rockers.
4
Stella Blue
Peak musicianship and total communication of the band at one of their most telepathic moments as a group. Jerry's vox is sublime.
2
Me and My Uncle
Bill lays down possibly the tightest groove i've ever heard on this song, doesn't even need a flashy high energy solo to be a top tier version
