Liberty
Solid and crispy. Check out the Lazy River Rd and Minglewood from the first set.
12
New Minglewood Blues
What no love this version? Tight solo with nice crescendo at the end. Very Nice!
8
The Weight
This has to be the best overall version from the Vince years. The boys are tight. Most true to the original The Band version.
8
Wave to the Wind
Very clean version with nice soloing by Jerry (reminiscent of 73/74 Eyes) and strong Phil vocals.
4
Touch of Grey
uptempo opener to a fine 1993 show
2
Drums -> Space
not as amazing as the space from the previous night but still a very heady performance
7
So Many Roads
This song seemed to bring out the best in Jerry's singing in the final years. This version's no different. And the guitar solo's lovely too.
3
Eternity
sublime
6
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
If you haven't heard this one, check it out. One of the last truly great ones.
1
Greatest Story Ever Told
Gritty Bobby vocals, good groove, great show.
2
Mexicali Blues
Good guitar work from Jerry. Nice late day version.
3
Friend of the Devil
Sparkling version with nice grizzled Jerry vocals.
1
Big River
Jerry floods this "Big River" with some tasty licks.
4
Terrapin Station
1992-93 was a very strong period for "Terrapin," and this version is no exception.
2
The Other One
Could be longer, but what's here is spooky and fantastic. Great peak.
3
Man Smart, Woman Smarter
Seriously funky version with great work from Jer.
