Users have designated the following versions as heady!
12
Dancin' in the Streets
whole show smokes
5
Sugar Magnolia
lazy and groovin with some heavy phil up front - very nice
2
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Prepare youself for blastoff during this version. This day might be the show of 76'. A must listen!
4
Franklin's Tower
Just another highlight from a most enjoyable second set. Wow the boys were all on fire this show!
11
Loser
I've never heard another version sound anything like this masterpiece. This is one special take the gang did, pure bliss...
11
Ship of Fools
A great The Other One->Ship Of Fools.
13
The Other One
Smoking version from a hot show.
10
Row Jimmy
I've posted my share of '76ers here, yet somehow not this one, a go-to version for me. Amazing vid on YT, also. Super Phil-heavy
13
Sugaree
Show opener! Starts in one tempo and ends in another. Elements at hand. Has its bright and shining moments.
14
Scarlet Begonias
Fantastic 15+ minutes of standa-lone Scarlet featuring a very Phil-front bass section post-lyrics. Final jam section gets real jazzy, too.
5
The Wheel
Of all the things I've found here, this is the one I'm proudest to have found.
7
Samson and Delilah
Somebody wasn't ready at the beginning, but things turn out alright.
4
It Must Have Been The Roses
The wonderful slow super stoney jam reminds me of that Miami '74 Jam > Ship of Fools
3
Not Fade Away
Funkiest playing of the intro material?
3
They Love Each Other
Phil digs deep this whole show. Jerry rips a nice solo on this one
6
The Music Never Stopped
Jerry tears this one apart with a shredding solo. The link here is bass-heavy SBD with some decay, but just brilliant playing by all.
3
New Minglewood Blues
Phil heavy in the mix
1
Looks Like Rain
Pretty but Powerful. Donna sounds great this whole Summer but the boys bring the punch here, too, especially toward the end.
