Subject: interesting energy
Subject: interesting energy
I remember that the roads were a bit icy getting to this show, a wintery atmosphere outside. There seemed to be a sort of windy-chilly adrenaline blast underpinning the takeoff of the 1st set, sort of a teetering but exciting atmosphere on stage. There are plenty of flubs and misses but the energy and interplay is wild.
The second set is much the same, has lots of excitement. Honestly, the vocal flubs should be mentioned (yes, the M Dew is nice, but the pre-solo vocals are a mess).
Very interesting and cool show.

Got real lucky this spring and recieved mail order tickets for all shows. Musically Albany was not the best run. But had a blast all 3 nights. Check out Morning Dew here.

Hey stuffyhead, this was my first show too! Funny...I was in the LAST row on the floor. I remember thinking, why the hell do they have chairs here? Who wants to sit? The drums/space and Dew blew my mind and the rest was history.

This was my first show! I was 16 and my ticket was front row and center!!!! Oh God! I can't even describe the energy! They were truely sound wizards and their boiling cauldrons were their amps!!!! Some of the notes Phil played during Space shoke my body, literally! The whole experience was powerful!
Of course, my sister had tickets for the following night. She also sat in the same spot only her seats were next to Rick Danko and Mountain Girl!!!! Lucky!

This was a good show! The sound quality, or lack of quality, is terrible. We need a SBD here, Please. Not worth the time or money to download.

I had alot of hassles getting to this show but it was all worthwhile when they came out of space. Jerry shreds in Watchtower and then brings it down to get that right D note to start Morning Dew. What a DEW it was, best I've ever seen, the jam before the last verse is so hot you think they're not gonna sing the last verse and just end it, but no, they bring it right down to a whisper quiet jam with one solitary light from above bathing Jerry as he quietly weaves his way through the Dew and up and up and up 'till you think the song is gonna explode and BAM, right into Saturday Night. Yummy.
PS the sound IS bad, but the show is worth it.

This is a great show, amazing Jack Straw, but this quality is horrible! Any sbd's available of this show, if so would love to see it up here. Thanks
