I am listening to every 1994 show in order, mining for gold.
Decent show with a well-played 2nd set. Cassidy and Terrapin>Jam are quite nice, but ... not many standouts here.

So, this was a very fun time. 1994 is a good year for music in soul of... I was turning twenty later that year and could feel independence coursing through
...
my soul. TicketTron was nearby so had grabbed tix all year there. This show was a trade for some Pink Floyd seats later on that summer. So glad because, at the time did not know how to get in to a Grateful Dead show as a bit of an outsider to say the least. Still that way ( smile !) Stayed for a couple days in the car. In 1990 I saw an exhibit of Monet with everything he ever painted. Could only compare sight to sound and today still. To me its proof that for all and all, every hundred years has a few that make seeing the World worth it always. Monet, Garcia...Proud to share in his country. Perhaps later I may catch a glimpse of future knowledge. Thanks.

I remember trading some tickets with a friend for this show, and I wound up sitting just off the floor right next to the penalty box. My neighbors were
...
the late John F. Kennedy Jr. and his girlfriend at the time, Daryl Hannah. I struck up a conversation and discovered it was her first show.
This audience recording has a lot of warmth and a nice amount of crowd into the mix, a reminder that Nassau crowds were generally enthusiastic.
First set highlights are a tight Loser and a powerful and punchy Cassidy that doesn't wander very far off course.
Second set opens with an Eyes that meanders along but never really goes anywhere interesting. Looks Like Rain has a satisfying climax and there's a short but sweet post-Terrapin jam. An energetic drums and a pleasing, if not groundbreaking post-drums segment. Average playing of a solid setlist, but not much here is worth returning to.

Wow, these shows are much better played than I recall them being in person. Sugaree is really strong here. Cassidy is super strong. This is a solid 4 star
...
performance IMHO. Sound is pretty average.
Jerry actually nails all the lyrics to Loser!!
