It's been a while since I've listened to this one. My last of two shows I saw and probably the only reason I'm listening to it. While this is obviously nowhere close to being their best it does have some good stuff. The SOTM is worth checking out. I've seen hundreds of bands since this show and I've still never felt the sheer joy I experienced at their shows. The scene, the crowd and the band were unique all to themselves. I felt like I had arrived at home. I give this a very biased 4 stars for the music and fun in the sun with friends.

But maybe they should have been. Hey, this is a 94 show, so if you're even reading this you are already aware of the risk you're taking. The I Fought the Law encore should be enough to keep most people away, but honestly, if you miss this show, you also miss a spectacular "Standing on the Moon" But that's all the good I can say about this otherwise lackluster performance. Two stars for the SOTM.

Alot of us thought that the end was near. This was my last show out of 300+. I remember Wharf Rat as very moving. 4 stars for sentimental value. Miss you Jer! (This review meant for last show of run, sorry)

...and I was forever hooked afterward.
I'll always have a copy of this in my car. Brent's "Easy to Love You" is a classic in itself. Space still sends me reeling when I listen to it, in part, I suppose, because it was so enhanced at the time. :)

This was my last show. it was a good one, I needed this as my father had just died 2 weeks before. This recording has lots of crowd noise but the show was great. It was hot and if memory serves they played on into the night

My first and only Grateful Dead show. I was all of 14 years old and I went with my dear ol' dad. What do I remember? A hot, sunny day. The green grass of Cal Expo. Sweat. Smoke. Bubbles. Laughter. Lots of fun. This recording is far from perfect, but the songs are well played and Jerry seems to be with it for most of the show. Get it if you were there. Probably best to mosey along if you weren't.
