kept us nice and warm all the way from st. Paul. It really sucks to read that people had a bad experience at a Grateful Dead concert that's not what the party is all about. Fighting. Really? Those heads out to be ashamed of themselves and hopefully they've grown up in the last 25 years. Second of a two-night stand. I had a great time. The vocals really shine at this concert. Jerry picking is good as well. Not really a whacked-out barnburner like has been said but that SPACE omg what a trip THAT was, whew! Those were actually voices coming from the sound system instead of from the inside of my brain! An excellent example of the Grateful Dead in the early 90s, Bruce Hornsby era. His last show with the dead, as I've Been Told.

what they said they were. It was my only exposure to Vince, and I didn't like it. Hornsby was carrying the band. The only upside of this show was the stories of hotel shenanigans and the road trip in general.

spectacular element to the band that was enough to make up for the loss of Brent. Especially when there is interplay between the baby grand,organ, and accordion. This show is pretty solid as far as sound, song selection and strength. It has all good qualities of a later-era Grateful Dead concert, and a rare The Weight although the placement in the set is not marked correctly. I give this 4 stars particularly for the sound - it is a great mix. ~ Let the good times roll

impression of the band in the early 90's was that they were much more orchestral in scope. There was a grand symphony sound to them especially when Hornsby was with them. He always added those big phat gorgeous piano chords. Once Vince settled in he added a lot of string color and his singing blended well with Bruce's, Jerry's and Bobby's vocals. There are quite a number of wonderful examples of their singing represented on this recording. Their voices really shine on Corinna. Perhaps this era was home to some of the most consistently strongest and most harmonic singing of the band's history. My attitude about the vocals is that if a band is going to sing then the singing should be robust and harmonic. The lyrics of the songs were good. Jerry and Bob both had interesting if not good voices. They loved to sing. My hats off to this band because it is extremely difficult to simultaneously sing and play their long drawn-out dirges. They always performed Dylan's songs very well. For historical reasons have to give a 5 star rating for this pleasant show even though it's not a whacked out barn burner.

It's backwards
This is one of those recordings (and it sounds amazing) that is "reversed" according to the stage setup. You usually hear Phil and Weir and maybe Kreutzmann
...
in the left speaker and the keyboards and Mickey and most of Garcia in the right as you look at them, just as they appeared on stage from around 82 or so on. Often, Garcia is split like 60/40 right/left. But this is reversed.

use the john and them being impatient. Ohhh well, I found my seat in the middle section and proceeded to enjoy the show! Dude next to me smoked me out with some killer bud and dosed me a couple hits. I kept lending out my ticket stub to deadheads that snuck in the section and kept managing to get it back. Once the acid kicked in full force during the second set, I started having a bad trip though. Went to get some beer and never got back to the section seat, couldn't seem to match the section numbers with what was on the ticket... lol. Ahhhh, the memories!!
