174China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Dicks Picks 12 But Awesome opening Jam
9Mind Left Body Jam
If you don't know... now you know.
this is the one from Dick's Picks 12.
One of the longest and best. Other One teases and lots of spacey interplay.
27Eyes Of The World
Dicks Picks 12 version, standalone Eyes, Jerry and Phil's interplay is some of the best ever!!! Compact, concise, beefy, and melodic.
Beautiful version. Must listen.
11U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
A flawless performance.
One of those shows where everyone was on and they just seemed to be having fun.Rocking version with Jerry going off and the Wall of Sound to boot.
Scarlet scrambled eggs deconstructed and elemental. Fun and Jerry is on fire, but we can't say 'flawless'. Chaotic fun. Band's just warming up....
5Let It Grow
As a young head I used to scream out for LIG and this one reminds me why. They click into place for a monster show right here.
8Weather Report Suite
Ok so it's no 6/28/74, but this one holds its own. Real nice playing that gets pretty deep into that freaky-jazzy stuff they do oh so well
3Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Beautiful, a classic '74 rendition that gets overshadowed by the monster china>rider
5Ship of Fools
Perfect. Scary perfect.
13Feelin' Groovy Jam
Out of China Cat, incorrectly listed on Dick's Picks 12 as "Mind Left Body Jam" is actually a Feelin' Groovy jam. Absolutely wonderful.
7China Cat Sunflower
simply the best
4Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
This has some bounce to it and just digin' the era's tone.
3Black Throated Wind
June of 1974 had some amazing music this is one of many great tunes from that month
2The Race Is On
Great '74 country, despite the off key harmonies.
5Me and My Uncle
Nice MAMU, upbeat.
2Brown Eyed Women
Very good version, jerry does the intro a little different, love
3Brown Eyed Women
Very good version, jerry does the intro a little different, love '74 versions of this.
Nice Row Jimmy, always great in 74,
Jerry does some great soloing on this one, this is an amazing show overall.
3The Other One
Proud and upstanding part of a great sequence. Phil is at the top of his game in one of his greatest of bass-playing years.
My lord! This mexicali is insane!! If you doubt the power of the cowboy tunes listen to this Wall of Sound beauty!!!
Outrageous version. Takes a second to get the mix dialed in, but man they blow the roof off. This has to be one of the best Wall of Sound shows.
2Beat it on Down The Line
Good Ole' Grateful dead
1It Must Have Been The Roses
Jerry & Donna
