97
Playin' In The Band
46 min playin
29
Eyes Of The World
Overshadowed by the monster second set Playin', this deserves more attention. Tight playing, tons 'o energy, and Phil is massive and funky. Check it!!
14
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
The boys were still inspired after that 46min Playin' and it shows. Possibly the best US Blues I know of. Don't overlook it or the rest of the show!
18
Sugar Magnolia
Are you kidding me?!? This just blazes white hot. Whole 2nd set is just a supernova.
24
Wharf Rat
A musical triumph capping an amazing 2nd Set. Soaring, almost Bird Songish intensity to the ensemble soloing. Perfect.
7
Mexicali Blues
One of many high-high-energy versions from '74.
14
Deal
'74 was a great year for the short barroom-type numbers.
15
Ship of Fools
Jerry's voice is crisp, his playing is sharp, and Keith does a great job with atmospheric organ fills
11
Big River
Freight train of energy
12
It Must Have Been The Roses
Personal favorite so far; Clean, strong vocals (SBD & matrix versions)
10
Money
I think this final version has a nice rocking groove should not have given up on this.
19
Brown Eyed Women
They catch the groove sweetly on this one.
29
China Doll
Phil all over this one - Jer and Keith crush the outro...
13
Around and Around
Money version, this is a hot show throughout rocking version
10
Johnny B. Goode
Another rocker given a litlle something extra in 1974, Keith and Jerry are really smoking on this version.
15
Scarlet Begonias
Great stand alone Scarlet before it found it's life partner in fire. Memorable show, surprising not to see it here.
8
The Race Is On
Tight rn through real standout performance by Keith and Donna as well as Bobby, Many countryish tunes this night than a 46 min Playin'
20
Weather Report Suite
Real nice suite, Jazzy and soft Bobby is on top of his game this evening.
7
Let It Grow
Not the powerhouse of the early 1980's versions but more beautiful floating on a beautiful guitar tone from Jerry, solid full band performance! 1974!!
3
Me and My Uncle
Love it as an opener..sets the groove for the whole show.
11
Row Jimmy
Love the Jimmy's from this era. This one is gorgeous.
6
El Paso
Tight AF version. Jer scorches it.
10
Stella Blue
Certainly as good as 74 Freedom Hall
3
Beat it on Down The Line
Woah! Band is tight as hell in this one, in particular KEITH sounds awesome
