This show does not sound as good as the previous night, which is the best show of the run. However, the Yellow Dog story during techical difficulties highlights the "playful" mood of the band. I think it's Mickey who jokes that it's Jerry's Birthday. The Let It Grow is outstanding, with decisive key changes that were not always featured during that jam. A bonus is the fact that is the Tower, which is tiny and intimate and the crowd is groovin'! Listen to the clapping during the Eyes>Dancin' from the 22nd to get a sense of how fun this run was.

This recording is really bassy and quiet. I had to crank the volume to hear it.
While there are a few first set highlights (Sugaree, a GREAT version of Big River), the second set is pretty uninteresting. St. Stephen in particular sounds phoned in. They pick up the pace a little bit in NFA, but I MADE myself sit through this St. Stephen.
