Rooster solo. The man played that B3 like he was bustin’ out of jail.

Best show of the four nights
Agreed that this fourth and final night of the Kaiser run is the strongest performance of the run. Weir was burning to sing desolation Row, would have opened with it if he could have. It is a top notch version. Regarding the question below, he is repeating the novel pronunciation of "Einstein" that rolled off his tongue a moment earlier. Yes, he really nails this version. To me, all four nights are a bit blah, just short of that eleven on the knob that goes up to ten. The year 1988 overall feels that way to me, after the joyous resurrection of 1987 and the heights that lay ahead in 1989.

wtf
At the
4:35 mark of Desolation Row, at the end of the verse, Bobby says some kind of word, perhaps german like "Einstacht". What gives?, who knows the story?

Came for the Desolation Row........
......and stayed for the rest. Came to this show off a recommendation from
http://www.headyversion.com (an interesting Dead site) that claimed this as one of the best versions of Desolation Row. After listening a few times, I'll admit, it's up there. Bobby really puts out on this one, the inflections in his voice certainly make this version stand out. In fact, Bobby's all over this show. Good, crawling Red Rooster and an emphatic (if spacey) Estimated into drums. Solid show, a little on the slow side for my tastes but a must have for Bobby fans. Listen at the end of It's All Over Now as they toy with Brown Eyed Women but give in to the crowd's chant of: "We Want Phil" and kick off Box of Rain instead
