Great show--but for sure not all from this date
A lot of ground is covered in these reviews about whether some of these songs are from another show--specifically 10/29/77.
I can tell you for 100% certain that "Jack Straw" is note for note the exact same version as 10/29/77...and so are "Estimated>Eyes". I know this b/c 10/29/77 is my favorite show of all time and I've listened to it so many times I know it practically note for note. Why these tunes were lifted and put here I have no idea, but they sound great so who cares? (and yes, as someone noted there are versions of 10/29/77 w/a cut in the "eyes" but you should get this one since it's whole. There's also a Charlie Miller version of 10/29/77 that's sans cuts and that's great too.

Who cares
After careful consideration and much thought with regards as to the origins of 10-06-77 as well as multiple listening sessions and conferring with "High Court" colleagues (shared attendees if you will) of mine it my contention, again, with the the utmost thought and deliberation that in the final analysis, my conclusion is as follows, this so called "collage" of a recording places me well back in a place where I most enjoy from time to time, Great listening, The Boys are in perfect rhythm and timing......captivating from start to finish, quintessential 77 Dead

bogus SBD
I took the time to try to add a few puzzle pieces to the mystery/confusion surrounding this show date.
Drums, NFA, and the first 13 seconds of Black Peter are definitely from 10/1/77, not 10/6. At the 13 sec. mark of Black Peter, there is a fairly obvious splice into what I believe is the real Tempe show, including the transition back into NFA and Around & Around.
This leads me to believe that the hairy-Jerry, wild, free-range NFA that appears on the other version of the Tempe show is the authentic one from 10/6.
If you haven't heard that version, stream it now and play it LOUD.

Definitely descrepancies
I've listened this on cassette since it was first broadcast on KBFH 30 years ago. So I'm intimately acquainted with the material.
Listening to this full show, some of the songs on the King Biscuit version are not from 10/6 or vice versa.
Estimated Prophet on the KBFH version is without a doubt different from the one on the full show version.
KBFH version:
"My time coming, any day, don't worry bout me, no "
The full concert version has:
"My time coming, any OLD day, don't worry bout me, no "
As psymon says, the 10/29 version is identical to the one here.
In the 1st part of NFA before Black Peter on the KBFH version, the guitar solo after the "My love is bigger than a Cadillac" verse (1:45) is completely different than the one on this version (5:10)
Listen yourself and see.
So my question is, where are the versions on KBFH from?
And what happened here?

Mostly a fake cont.
P.S. One more piece of the puzzle: Deadbase shows that there was only one show in 1977 that featured Black Peter -> NFA; it was 10-6-77. The next such occurrence was 5-3-79 (with Brent), and the only earlier case was in 1969. Neither could be mistaken for 1977 with Keith. The jam appears continuous (no sign of a splice, although this can't be absolutely ruled out). I hope someone posts the KBFH version of 10-6-77 on FurtherNet (please!)

Chiming In...
I only had time to listen to the "Loser" on this one, and it isn't going to be anyone's fave version, i predict. Extremely fast, and not because the tape is sped up; they just chose to do it as a fast number! This doesn't work, IMO. When Jerry starts his solo, Bob and Keith immediately forget how the song goes. The ending is strange as well... "Ti-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-ime..."
The sound is crispy and nice, maybe not enough Phil, but I always think that. Really good balance between the two guitars, drums maybe a bit loud. Vocals balanced and present.

This King Biscuit show was broadcast in 1978!
Didn't they air this as estimated-nfa-drums-nfa-round-terrapin?
My old FM cassette included the Terrapin Station from Winterland 12-29-77 according to the announcer's comments at the end of the hour...

I gave a listen to my FM broadcast cassette recording and at least the starred songs match perfectly: Promised, Tennessee, LLR, Estimated, Not fade, Black Peter, Not Fade, Around...

Fm is way different than the sdb
I have an old cassette from the kbfh broadcast, and the NFA is totally different than whats on the sdb. Jerry goes into a crazy jam before the tape runs out at 45 mins......it is not present on the sdb version, which leads me to belive the sdb could be something other than what it says. Does anyone have a clean fm to post? cheers- Mike

10-29-77 / 10-1-77 patched in
In the first set, Jack Straw, Dire Wolf, Looks Like Rain and Loser are all from 10-29-77. The Music Never Stopped is from 10-1-77. Is ANY of this stuff really from 10-6???

Not what it claims to be
FOTD, Estimated > Eyes are from 10/29/77, not from 10/6/77. If you don't believe me, listen to the 10/29 versions and then to these. Maybe now that this bogus show has made it to LMA (having been on
tol.etree.org, and before that, spread via CD trade) someone will actually address the situation and provide the real 10/6/77 versions of these songs.
Dan, please listen to both the 10/29 and alleged 10/6 versions of Estimated > Eyes back-to-back in their entirety. I don't think you'll then disagree that it's identical music.

I think psymon's onto something here...
Notwithstanding file size differences, an initial check of psymon's claims seems to bear out what he says - listen to the first 30 seconds of FOTD, and it's exactly the same, including an audible whistle during the first verse that appears in exactly the same spot. The beginnings of the Estimateds and Eyes sound exactly the same as well - and let's just say that the alleged 10-6-77 versions of these tunes sure don't sound as though they contain two analog gens.
As to file size differences, I seem to recall that some early versions of 10-29-77 have a cut in Eyes while subsequent versions don't, so perhaps that might explain it. Or not, just speculating.
In any event, folks should avoid downloading this until we can resolve the discrepancies.

More Research Needed
I don't think you are right about that. A quick review of the files sizes indicate that the Estimated and Eyes from 10/29/77 are significantly longer, in the range of a not-insignificant 5 MB for each file. The Estimated from 10/6/77 was broadcast on the KBFH, so its widely available in at least FM-SBD. There's simply no reason to patch from another show. I've given the Estimated multiple listens and it certainly sounds like the version from the well-worn cassette I recorded off the radio in 1977.
