My first show
Love everything about this show because it was my first, it was Halloween, people were happy. I didn't know then that chatting between songs was not normal.

overlooked and underrated
Given the outstanding May run earlier in the year, the well-known November shows, and the famous one on 10/29 it's not surprising this one gets overlooked.
...
It's too bad though because the second set in particular is quite good. The first set doesn't really get going until the end. Even Passenger, normally a pretty smoking tune, is fairly mid-tempo and reserved. But the Lazy Lightning/Supplication combo and the set-closing Deal, are both pretty hot. The second set opens with a solid Samson and has one of my favorite versions of Peggy-O. The ensuing jam that starts and ends with Playin' is terrific. Every song in between (as well as Playin') is well jammed and developed, especially The Other One which I think is one of the best of the late 70s. I'm pretty sure you can never go wrong with Wheel > Wharf Rat, either! Check it out, at least set 2. You won't be sorry.

Not a Classic Night
There are many better nights from 1977 but the banter between songs makes it an interesting listen. Jerry sounds pretty much out of it on Candyman but

leveled off as the show went on. I'm moving on to the next one.....it will be a better listen.

wanna do that" when Phil suggested the Playin ... Wheel ... Wharf Rat that they eventually played. Love it

Peggy-Orgasm
Regal, one-of-a-kind performance of this tender tune. Absolutely fantastic. Keith and Jerry take it away. Everything else is solid 77'. No complaints

here. Jerry's comment before Lazy is nice and sassy...I love tune up time with all these soundboards on Archive...you can pick up so much of the lil' details caught on the stage that were lost on low gen. Maxell recordings over the years.

Good sound, good jerry line
This one is actually a bit mellower than I'm used to from late 77 (think 11/4 and 11/6), but the sound is quite good. And great Jerry line right before
