Fillmore East New York, | Listen on archive

Users have designated the following versions as heady!
8
Caution
Enormous jam buildup to Caution with hints of Alligator. Classic version!
13
The Eleven
Eleven Jam. This one is tight as a you-know-what!!
6
King Bee
2/11/69 album. not very long, but the best pig vocals i've ever heard on this tune. very satisfying.
11
Mountains of the Moon
As much as I love the entire Fillmore run, I think this version surpasses those in execution and vocal performance. Jerry sounds great!
23
Dark Star
Profound statements throughout. Often overlooked.
12
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Powerful version. Everything from this night had to be shortened due to Janis playing later.
10
Cryptical Envelopment
The ending jam or reprise jam is excellent and smokes like all the good ones do!
12
The Other One
Not the longest version (due to time restraints), but this one starts like it is shot out of a fucking cannon
8
Doin' That Rag
An extra handful of stank on the end jam puts this well above a "normal" version. Definitely worth checking out
8
Hey Jude
Early Grateful Dead having tons of fun
4
Turn On Your Love Light
smokin version
6
Dupree's Diamond Blues
Opener of the late show. A great, great, insane version
2
Feedback
Must have sounded very freaky 50 years ago! Intergalactic
4
Cosmic Charlie
Loud and raucous encore. As Bob says, That’s what it’s for!
2
And We Bid You Goodnight
Pretty good one, wondering why it isnt on here yet. after a few minutes of audience it erupts into cosmic charlie then the tape cuts out
1
Drums
Part of second set jam from 2/11/69 album
