First Show
This night was the first time I actually purchased a ticket and went inside a Grateful Dead show. I had been to shows to check out the scene and caught the JGB that previous fall. So for me this was an epic show. Four "new-to-me" tunes, So Many Roads, Eternity, Wave To The Wind and Long Way To Go Home. Slow Jerry tunes High Time, Ship Of Fools, Attics and Knockin. Thick Phil throughout the night. What a great time. From that point on there was no stopping me from entering every show I could.

This is the "So Many Roads" for which all others are judged by......in my humble opinion.

Knockin'
I, too, have been at every Albany show and get nostalgic about all of them. Especially this 3-night run. It would be my last 3-night run. Jerry looked like he was Knockin' on Heaven's Door. He played well, sang ok.
Personally, I felt tonight's Scarlet->Fire was not too shabby. The Attics was the high point in my perception.

Gotta love the Knick!
I disagree with dmilks completely. I was at both shows and found this night to be better. The scarlet/fire is hot! Lots of energy. This was an excellent show all around. I found 3/27 to be a bit uninspired and sloppy.

great on paper.....
I don't know, this show just doesn't do it for me like most Spring 93 shows. They just sound kinda off to me throughout the whole first set. Scarlet>Fire is nice and jammy, but it doesn't have the energy behind it that most do. The remainder of the second set sounds tired and out of sync. highlight of the night is undoubtedly the Attics.
IMHO, the 3-27 night is the best of the run, no doubt.

MONSTER show
one of the rare later 90's monsters.
best night of the run, imo...and maybe the best of that tour.
Do yourself a favor and check out the ST-250 AUD source. I wish all my aud sources sounded like this. Really puts you there. Phil is sooo huge, and comes through much nicer on the AUD source than the SBD, which I find to sound rather stale / bland.

Great Deal!!!!!
This was a very solid show. The Deal to close the first set was smokin!! Wonderful Scarlet > Fire, very comparable to 6/12/92 at the Knick. Phil is thumpin the entire night and Bobby delivers a nice Lovelight. Knickerbocker Arena always hosted insane shows by Jerry and the boys!!
