stella
The show is good for 93. The Stella Blue though...Jerry tears into middle jam and the end jam just keeps slowly building until the killer climax. This is one of my favorite stella's from any time.

Awesome Recording
Very strong show from beginning to end. Completely worth the listen. Jerry is ON. I listened to many of the songs twice (Stagger Lee!). Women Are Smarter version is the reason it will always be on my top 10 list. Also loved the version of Velveeta (Corrina). Excellent recording. Love and miss you every day Jerry.

Half Step
Music has made me cry only once in my life. It was listening to this Half Step jam on a twilight drive across the Potomac River not long after Jerry passed. He really digs in for the ending. I suppose it had something to do with the moments getting fewer and farther between, but toward the end there was such a brilliantly melancholic flash when his cog would catch. And his cog catches here...if only for a moment. The problem with opening with Half Step is that when they nail the ending, they really nail it and it's hard to follow. It's as beautiful as it gets, imo.
The rest of the show is average to me. A big whatever for the Supplication...woulda been a cool surprise live, but it's not worth bothering to listen back.

Average at best. Nothing too thrilling by any stretch. Even Supplication (first one since 86) is pretty average in it's delivery and energy.
The Backstretch is pretty well played with some good energy. IFTL is a waste of the encore slot IMHO.

Supplication
Nice breakout extremely well played. Garcia gets some nice seventies tone. The Half Step is one of the best of any era and Brown-Eyed Women and Stagger Lee are also top notch. The 1st sets all 3 nights were very good

Shoreline is a cool Place
The Supp is great foe the bust out factor, the jamming is killer. Bobby doesn't even attemp some of the lyrics though. Check out Vince on Foolish, he sounds just like Brent. The sound is a 5.
