Fantastic Dark Star->Stella Blue.
6
Stella Blue
Smoking Dark Star melts into a fantastic Stella Blue.
5
Me and Bobby McGee
Unique version. Great vocals with Jerry singing backup. Classic '72 sound.
5
Friend of the Devil
Short and sweet. Not lickety-split quick pickin' à la 1970-71 and certainly not a slow-as-cold-molasses 80's style either, but nice and right. A gem.
4
Playin' In The Band
Expansive and spacious with brilliant flashes. Has a few bad AUD patches in need of a fix but well worth the ride.
6
Tomorrow Is Forever
A sweet and rare country torch ballad showing off just what they were thinking bringing the Godchaux on board the bus.
3
He's Gone
Incredibly delicate version. Garcia very much in the forefront
3
Big River
A great version from a great show.
13
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Surprised this hasn't made the list. Jerry rocks it out at the end of this early version!
7
Box of Rain
One of the better Box of Rain, well sung nicely played. Cos the vocals are so important to this song I would wish others to hear it and vote it up.
2
Me and My Uncle
Jerry Jam Uncle following killer Half Step.
3
Big Railroad Blues
Not long running time; but Jer pulls the hillbilly switch early
1
Loser
Solid powerful version where they start gelling perfectly for the set.
1
Deal
Shredding goodness, coming late in the set after a killer Star>Stella. Great show all around.
1
Around and Around
This one crackles with energy. Bobby really lets it rip.
1
Sugaree
A hot show opener with Jerry really leaning into the vocals
