Drums -> Space
March 9, 1981
Madison Square Garden

Bill and Mickey start chaotically but reel it back by 04:30 and get groovy. Space feels like exploring a classic Alien planet from an old serial.

Funky af drums coming out of a cosmic Dark Star and THEN into an Other One! Bliss!

Keiths first show. Saddens me that I had to be the one to add this. It's good!

Another great song from Rotterdam with shockingly low votes.

Out of all song performances where I'm shocked there aren't more votes for it, this would up there.

I think this one stands out! Why so few votes?

Pig put his entire soul into The Stranger. He knew his days were numbered. And Jerry is right behind him in this one. Aside from the Live/Dead Lovelight, I think this performance is Pig's magnum opus.
Two Souls in Communion

Jahrhunderthalle

It's a good version, but I feel like people are more biased towards this because it got released on the E72 reissue. 5/26 and 5/11 have versions of The Stranger that are equally on par.
