Drums -> Space
March 9, 1981
Madison Square Garden

Bill and Mickey start chaotically but reel it back by 04:30 and get groovy. Space feels like exploring a classic Alien planet from an old serial.

Funky af drums coming out of a cosmic Dark Star and THEN into an Other One! Bliss!

A real outlier. Better than most Bobby McGee's ive heard.

Keiths first show. Saddens me that I had to be the one to add this. It's good!

Greatest Story Ever Told

Olympia Theater

Sick version. Can see why it made it onto E72 Vol 2.
Tennessee Jed
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater

Totally get why they included this in the album; its very crisp and the playing is airtight - a jack of all trades Jed, but imo there are far better versions from this tour. 4/8 and 4/24 specifically spring to mind. Let's face it, its top because it made it onto E72 and its probably the ver. that fans think of first.
He's Gone
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater

This seems to be the first He's Gone where Jerry starts experimenting with the notes, changing the song forever for years to come.
Cumberland Blues
April 8, 1972
Wembley Empire Pool

Not surprising at all that this was the one to make it on the E72 album.
Dark Star

Musikhalle

Seemingly the most underrated DS I've heard, because 38 votes isn't nearly enough. Get's a little creepy, but doesn't regress into noise like other 72 DSs do.
