Fun stuff, especially Brent's organ; actually enjoyed the Good Lovin' it goes into more than I usually do with Bobby versions.

U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
Dec. 9, 1981
Activity Center - University of Colorado

Part of a nice 1-2 punch encore; the final, high energy rockers really elevate this show.

New Minglewood Blues

Cameron Indoor Stadium

Energetic version sandwiched between a KILLER Row Jimmy and an interestingly tempoed Loser.

Ramble On Rose
Dec. 30, 1979
Oakland Auditorium

Nice pace and vocals, almost as rockin' as the (pinnacle) '78 versions, with some Brent keys thrown in.

Brown Eyed Women

Palace Theatre

Nifty '72 BEW sets-up a lovely, exploratory PITB...hold on to your hats for set 2, with a criminally underrated top 10 of all-time Dark Star.

Also a big fan of the slowed-down versions. I agree...what a first set! Wow!
Stella Blue

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Jerry really slows it down on this one...and it's sublime. Love what everyone is doing behind him too. Very beautfiul, underrated version coming out of The Other One and into Playin' reprise.

Love this version. Especially Keith, switching over to what sounds like a Fender Rhodes. These '74-'76 pre-Fire Scarlets are really doing it for me.
Let The Good Times Roll

Alpine Valley Music Theatre

how can you not get in the groove after this one?
So Many Roads
Oct. 1, 1994
Boston Garden

You can hear every one of those roads in the passionate and moving way Jerry belts out those vocals. Perfect song for this stage in his life/career. Just beautiful.
