I Need A Miracle
July 20, 1994
Deer Creek Music Center

6 tracks pre-drums, a set chock full of patient, far-reaching playing. This is a perfect party time palate cleanser, searing.

Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again

Deer Creek Music Center

A version that earns the submission. Inspired and filled out. Night prior is hot and the Deer Creek magic reigns.

Excellent generously stately and tumultuous intro. Laid back. Nice melt to black peter.

tight bucket yields this hoarse , ever so blue hot, blistering version!! Heavy late night express jerry soul rocker, big man sends it, gnarly version.

this is a golden stretch in terms of style and form for GD. Deep and thickly bright sprinting jam

Playin' In The Band
Aug. 24, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

earns that upvote. More groups should use bass as a lead instrument. Just sublime how much of the veneta magic is here, (this is probably even more true of the surreal, spooky dark star>dew) especially after listening to the 8/27 playin and bird how this playin ebbs with the same episodes of propulsive jazzy ballet and watercolor pentatonic ambient space. Powerful.
Bird Song
Aug. 24, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

Hamlet mode indeed. Portal gun alligator work. Virgo season love all around, the trademark composure, solution finding wit.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Sugaree
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

kindly tho!!! Skittering coiling masters seminar for pre-jam era of sugaree, flirts with that side nimbly here. Kool sugar mag bookend to 3+ hours of monastery-bound, Dharmic focus in tow for beyond.
The Other One
April 16, 1984
Community War Memorial Auditorium

So good, space is like kids eating all the smores and starting to spaz out and make out with each other on a school trip at the raging campfire (devils still going)and they get into some nice operatic inspirations, motivic exaltations before this TO1 snarls in proper and continues to push the envelope structurally. Just as brent was stoking the flames of buoyant, fertile tonal psychedelia after he's gone, Jerry checks into this show big time and sweeps up everything in his all-knowing wake... Delivery's got that punk fury... Perfect to1 just like May 8th. apr 24 earmarked
