A lovely version in some ways, but the guitar breaks are disappointingly limp.

This really is a sloppy version. The vocals, as Estimated Jaded Vet says, are horrendous, and there are lots of flubs. But the second guitar break is what creates all the hoopla. Jerry's notes are fast and furious in a way that is unlike any other version, but still too sloppy to be the top version. A nice anomaly, though.

The extended solos are swell, all right, but the song is just so painfully slow it is hard to sit through.

This is a very sloppy version, and terribly, terribly out of tune. The solo is what saves it, and the reason so many people vote for it, I imagine, but for me it is nearly unlistenable.
