Great set closer. Jerry is top notch and Brent was at his best when he behind a B3.

Excellent Cassidy with deep jam, Jerry and Brent throwing colors on the canvas.

Pretty Peggy O

Rosemont Horizon

Just a perfect Peggy-O. Jerry's voice is so strong and his solo is melodic, band doesn't rush and Brent has some nice textures from his keys.

New Bear's Sonic Journals release sounds AMAZING!

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

Winterland Arena

“Don’t wanna be beaten this old way…” Shorter, with just a single solo, but extremely powerful performance that could have been on Skull N Roses

Bickershaw Festival

I'll keep looking, but I don't think I'll find a better version of this wonderful song
Sugaree

Olympia Theater

true, there's no crazy jam, but this something more precious: a heartfelt, soulful vocal from Jerry and beautiful, yearning guitar lines
Not Fade Away

Strand Lyceum

really epic version, you can tell the crowd clapping the intro gets the band hyped, and they absolutely deliver
Not Fade Away

Wembley Empire Pool

I can't praise this version enough. This is my favorite lineup; one drummer to keep things groovy, but keith on keys and pig on organ to fill out the sound. and once they get to work on the jam, Jerry lets his guitar sing. everyone should get their copy of Europe '72: Vol 2 and check out the sequence this version kicks off, because it really deserves more votes.
Not Fade Away

St. Louis Arena

The Iko Iko debut is very fun, but make no mistake, the meat of the second set is this stellar NFA. Jerry brings the heat, and the rhythm devils match him perfectly. this show is slowly becoming among my favorite spring 77 shows.
