Great set closer. Jerry is top notch and Brent was at his best when he behind a B3.

Excellent Cassidy with deep jam, Jerry and Brent throwing colors on the canvas.

Just a perfect Peggy-O. Jerry's voice is so strong and his solo is melodic, band doesn't rush and Brent has some nice textures from his keys.

New Bear's Sonic Journals release sounds AMAZING!

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

Winterland Arena

“Don’t wanna be beaten this old way…” Shorter, with just a single solo, but extremely powerful performance that could have been on Skull N Roses

the below-average solo disqualifies this from being Heady™, but everything before is very good. at least check out Jerry's singing.

A+ rendition; Donna sounds amazing and Jerry is doing really wonderful stuff during the jam around 3:20.

I owe the Europe '72 Vol 2 compilation album a lot of things, it was important for my development as a Deadhead, and it introduced me to this killer Playin'! This whole tour had so many, I can't imagine how hard it was to pick this amidst so many great versions.

deserves far more recognition, the whole second set sequence that this kicks off deserves an official release some time in the near future.
