Hot one!! Brent lays down some nice stuff, Bobby’s slide is… a thing. Then Garcia puts in some work!

Weir insists it’s time for another cowboy song. “This one rose straight to the top of the charts, of course we didn’t do it” great, consistent one

Donna lets out the most insane scream I’ve ever heard and the crowd goes wild lol. Fun one with harmonica action

One of those “surprised not to see this here” moments. A short, less soaring one than many this period, but fun nonetheless

I can't argue with this one sitting at the top. It crams in a gargantuan amount of emotion and power into its runtime. Every time I play it back I hear a little something I hadn't caught before, particularly from Garcia, who says so much with his playing here. I can think of a few '72 versions that sit above it, in my mind, especially in terms of complexity and inspiration. This one doesn't lack either whatsoever, but some others are just volcanic. Not mad that it sits at #1, though.

Fascinating start. Phil hits hard from the start while Jerry slowly leans into the thunder. Agree Garcia's muted playing at first is a tell—it almost always is. Good observation. Takes a jazzy detour early on, blowing into a perfectly cinematic production. Then you're in for an absolute nightmare. Seriously chilling stuff. Ends pretty powerfully. Great one. Top tier stuff.
