Nice, good vocals from both of the boys. Smooth clear solos. Fun.

Very tight jam from the year of Playin'. The ensemble mind at liquid speed defining the best of a great year. Don't know if it's "best" but it's damn

The whole vibe is one of transcendent wave-like peaks upon peaks. Everyone does seem, as John_B suggests, to be climaxing at once.

Go with the Usborne Matrix over the link here, in my humble opinion.

Love this one. Thanks for the reminder. The whole entry period for Keith is brilliant, but this does have a special oomph as it builds to the end. Listening to Bobby's accompaniment to on-fire Keith is so fun. You've already voted for some of my most-loved sleepers, (April 15, '70, Oct. 22 "Surf-punk" '67), but check out the Mahalo spirit on January 24. I'll keep you in mind if I uncover some under-rated gem. This and Bertha were always my favorite openers.

Maybe the funniest banter ever for Bay Area residents. Bobby: "Next couple of years If don't have nothing better to do you might vote for me for mayor." Jerry: "Of Freemont".
