The Other One

This magnificent monster could easily be near the top for '71. The show has electrical problems in 1st set, but not here. Listen to it.

Sing Me Back Home

Show has a metallic twangy sound, to great effect here: turns this sweet tune into a hot industrial number.

Goes into a "The Main Ten" jam at 3:05 typical of the first month or so with Keith. Plus Phil is going bananas back there.

Jerry's bites down like an acid crocodile. Hot electric wires and sharp as a tack phrasing....

Listen past a few sound and static issues and you have a real beaut of a cruiser here. A solid doo-wop pulse gives it a different flavor too.a

I disregarded this show for too many years, and I'm not sure why now, 'cause its got the goods on every number. This Dew owns its votes. Listen and love.

It sounds like Keith has twenty fingers. Killer piano work on this uptempo jumper.

Everything about this set just kicks ass. FreedomHaul said it well.

Hadn't listened to this show on the box set yet, and sweet jeezus this PiTB got a big upgrade. Beg, borrow, or rip the box version and be amazed. Any show that kicks of with this kind of monster is going to be very good indeed. The good just gets better.

The SSDD is over-the top. Total balls-to-the-wall jam.
