Not Fade Away

Murky AUD and incomplete show on IA, but a blaze of fun, this one. Has an itty-bitty Mountain Jam at 1:25 for about 12 seconds.

Some rough spots coming back in, but a very interesting almost Santana-esque first jam and a great Pig groove. Interesting one.

Surprised it isn't here yet. Only one in '71 and it intensely musical and weirdly experimental. Crashes into a short feedback/tuning then a sweet UJB.

The Other One

Moves between super-charged hard rocker and an open-spaced delicate beauty. Marred by a cut, so how far did it really go? Anyone have the complete?

Soaring jam flirts with tipping into the outer void. Wild beauty with Pig on B3 gives it something extra.

Funny culture clash after this rock-solid version. The boys tell the Danish audience they "don't have to clap like that" (in unison, which was of course a sign of appreciation, but certainly comes off a bit stiff). They then figure out that nobody can understand a word they're saying and go into one of the swingingest You Win Agains ever. Seems like a lovely good time was had by all.

A little tape speed wobble at the beginning shouldn't stop anyone. They sort it out quick. This one kicks out the barn door and charges at full speed. The show is top notch through and through.

Bobby bursts a vein on the shout chorus.

The hypersonic re-entry into the atmosphere coming out an outrageous TOO reprise simply melts into vapor and touches down with this angelic version. What a treat. A great set worth the hype.

The whole Truckin'>Drums>TOO is too beautiful for words. Don't skip the Truckin', as the set works as a whole. Phil is really understated, but leading from behind in much of this. Especially going into the FG jam.
