Pigpen at his best with the band at its grit-in-the-gears crunchiest. They were on this night and this one is just full of butt.

Listening to this one a lot this week, and I agree with ferretstew. The band is just so tight and together. The energy builds and builds, and this version stands out for its coherence and the arc of its composition. I also love 02 Dec., which gets much weirder, but this one shows off their virtuosity.
