Never thought I'd dig this song so much. They're just so on this whole night (week actually).

Brilliant soloing. Great version.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
March 22, 1973
Utica Memorial Auditorium

This is one of the finest China-Riders I've ever heard with a smooth transition aided by fact that they stream as one song. Utica March '73 does seem a bit underappreciated and 22 March has fast precise and exploratory playing all over its great setlist.
They Love Each Other

Short and sweet.
Mexicali Blues
March 22, 1973
Utica Memorial Auditorium

Great version. Throw-away or not, when the boys are as tight and energetic as this, it bodes well for the rest of the show. El Paso falls in the same category, and it too is just on blazingly good during this set.
Dark Star
March 21, 1973
Utica Memorial Auditorium

Agreed - the show is underrated, maybe because so many of the jams are of an understated, cool-mellow vibe instead of being hot and fast.... Not this one, though. The meltdown in this Star is a blisteringly weird one.
