Jerry leans into it with a jaw-tighteningly crisp and high-voltage tone for a killer solo, though the group is a bit loose. Pigpen sounds amazing.

Keith is woodshedding throughout this. Gives us a master blaster class of razzle and dazzle during the whole number. He's got ten fingers on each hand if he's got one!

Not only is this the first version since 17.06.1975 (not since 1974 as said here), but this may be the very first pure disco beat they played in concert. Disco-dead might not be everybody's favourite cuppa, but it certainly did happen.... Enjoy it you cardboard cowboys!!!

It's been a long time since I dipped back into this tour and wow. This is a gem. It has that unmistakeable drive and power of the great '74s and some of Phil's best soloing. What a powerful statement. With that tight odd-metered outro (7/8 + 7/8 + 6/8 I think, maybe... though I'll be damned if I've ever figured it out) I can fully understand why they might have been thinking about an eventual Eyes>Slipknot combination, but this is it, really. Did they ever develop this knuckle-busting combo any further?
