The most Kingston Trio-ish I've ever heard them sound. What fun. Haven't listened to this in a while, but the comment on "Can't Come Down" brought me here. Cool stuff.

Keith's work here is superb. He and Jerry are in perfect mind meld. This period for Playin' is such an embarrassment of riches, how could you choose just one favorite? I love how this one finds a beautiful quiet spot mid-way in, gives Billy and Phil some space, then comes sizzling back in like waves of heat off a burning meteor.

The comments are spot on. The punchiness on this one gives in a powerful driven feel. Almost sounds like a musical argument in places: right after the last lyrics in CC, it sounds to me like Jerry tried to pull out a minor variation the Phil vetoed. Anyone else hear it?
