Sugar Magnolia

Yeah, Sugar Mag okay... but the Sunshine Daydream is tops. Just kills me each time I hear it.

Truckin'
Sept. 7, 1973

Top form from a great 2nd set then into a ballsy TOO jam (no lyrics) and then one of the best Eyes of all time.

Let It Grow
Sept. 7, 1973
Nassau Coliseum
First-ever performance. Mid-way they let it grow into experimental bliss. A must-have for LIG fans.

Playin' In The Band
Sept. 7, 1973
Nassau Coliseum
Intense jaming and crystal clear guitar work, plus Billy's hard driving makes it a barn-burner. Gets better each listen.

Here Comes Sunshine

Nassau Coliseum
Really smooth and mellow groove 2nd set opener from a solid show after a month in the studio. Hard to see why not here yet.

Jeez guys, how did five people vote for a song that wasn't even performed at this show?
El Paso

Not everybody's favorite song, but not the filler it's often dismissed as either. The band plays it hot and fast, and Jerry lovingly dances over it with a thousand-and-one ideas streaming of his guitar with flourish and virtuosity.
Here Comes Sunshine

Thanks for the tip Grendel. Mr. Charlie earns yet another star for fixing one of the biggest buzzkills of '73. Enough has been said about this show, but daaaaaaaaaaamn if it didn't just get better.
