Sweet and subtle: A beautiful come down after the muscular peak Eyes - but the set isn't done and they ramp it up again for more. A gem of a show.

Keith on organ just kills it. He's hot in the mix and the song has a totally different feel for it. Show overshadowed by Nov.-Dec. '73 but worth it.

Uptempo version highlighting '74 Rock Goddom, while nailing that jug-band vibe, like only the Dead knew how: Shitkickin'ly upcountry bluegrass mountain music rockin' and rollin' the Wall of Sound.

Really nice description! It's loose and fun and rocking. Really cool to hear Bobby crack up at (presumably) some of the insane noises coming out of Jerry's guitar, too.

Top notch tight harmonies on Rider and a sweet up-tempo. Deserves its fame. (Years later) I'm revisiting this, and undoubtedly it stands head-and-shoulders above so many others. Just exactly perfect.
