Check out the totally mad vocals. Someone's belting it out, and it ain't Donna! Out of a killer Dark Star.

A long deep ride: Inter-stellar collectivity with deep-space weirdness after 1st chorus.

Beautiful ensemble playing. Jerry and Donna harmonise nicely.

The boys push behind Bobby like the posse chasing the narrator of the song. You can hear the hoofbeats. Excellent.

Soaring. Jerry and Phil in collective consciousness. My version is marred by a rough AUD patch though.

Sweet and lovely version and part of an dream 2nd set Saint Stephen>NFA>SS>Eyes>Drums>Wheel. Just off-the-hook beautiful.

Beautiful mellow '76 Stephen jam flows oh-so-nicely into and out of a smooth and fine NFA.

One really beautiful idea after another. Slightly rough sound quality, but one rare beauty from this short rotation. I had this on cassette back in the 80s and damn near wore it out.

Think this is a Bobby song? Listen to Jerry just tear through it with his torrential downpour of one musical idea after another, his notes like so many raindrops by the million.

Thanks for the shoutout Darkstar67. ‘76 remains the best-kept secret year for the 70s. I think it gains from its loose and understated qualities. It isn’t slick - maybe the one thing I’d say against the perfection of the next year - but warm and cozy.
