Really Heads? Not here yet? 21 minutes of super fine hotandheady jam. Blazing hot, capping off a year of just outrageous Playin' playing.

Don't know the '70s versions enough to say "unique", but check this one out for beeeautiful vocals over light-as-light sweet acoustic playing.

The boys start the show with all guns blazing. Seems like they'd open with this when they were most massive. Ahhhh, Winterland.

The band has come together, the vocals are warm, the solos are sharp, so strap on boys and girls 'cause this show just ignites from here on out....

Great Caution, but absofreakinglutely outrageous feedback into the deep deep space and back. Face stolen, body floating -> Bid You Goodnight. Damn.

"Intense mellow", "laid back intensity" or what I always refer to as "hot mellow" - that's what's on display here. (Actually "laid back intensity" is a better choice of words.) As a musician I think it comes from utter confidence in the communication that comes from deep musical connection when playing together often, and of course the collective consciousness developed over years of touring, and a not insignificant reference to acid's ability to break barriers between individual egos, exposing the collective identity, a.k.a. 'there's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert'.... In any case, this Sugar Mag is brilliant. That it forms a big part of the 2nd set and not a tack-on at the end before the encore is just brilliant. The Eyes sammy is a rare treat.

From a show that just keeps giving and giving. This jam just seems to be endlessly building and building, It's complex, thoughtful and dreamish, and the vocals are sweet sweetness.

Absolutely this. That build up is so beautiful. I'm surprised they didn't restructure the whole song to guarantee that would happen again. What a night this must have been.

Love the standalones, and this one with the new C.Miller cleanup is just brilliant. Keith is on fire, and Phil swoops and boops like a nitrous tank filled with thousands of bubbling rubber balls. The jam is thoughtful, strong, and transportive.

New Charlie Miller cleanup (from only two months ago) turns great show into a magically mixed, supremely clean snapshot of Cassidy in its infancy. Strong medicine, sparkling with brilliancy and filled with significations. Great version.
