Takes a lot to upvote a Bobby skip song. This one gives it. Love the slightly more languid pace to start, makes it more interesting and then Jer is off the hook completely making this absolutely irresistable.

Boy, listened to one from the vault countless times when it came out 30-plus years ago. I really haven't listened again over the past few decades. I figured this was up so high on the list because it was on the official release. Nope. This is unquestionably a top 10 version and totally understandable if you feel it is the best. Thanks for piquing a re-listen!

I still prefer 10/25/79, but just by a hair. This one is soooo good, it deserves the 1 or 2 spot. Blows the 6/30/85 out of the water. Brent is awesome on the ivories in the last jam and you can tell Jer is loving it (he even mimics a Brent lick, which didn't happen that often).
