This is Godchaux's 2nd to kast TMNS. Just like their behavior, this versionn is a ticking bomb and does what you want out of a TMNS

High octane version during first of 3 excellent shows in Chitown to start the year

All around great show and the Althea rips like the rest of murder's row from '80

The "Walk in the sunshine!" version. Jerry's tone is near perfect, Keith is A+, Bobby makes it weird, Phil is present, Donna sounds great, the crowd is receptive and one of the more climatic endings to this song out there. This is the top dog show of summer '76 IMO

Definitely one of the cleanest, most polished versions ever played. Perfect vocals and pace.

Easily best version of decade. Can't think if any that are anywhere near this level. I've heard nearly all of them from '72-'91

I gotta jump in and strongly disagree with above comment that any '73 Straw is better than post '74. The song was always fun but didn't become great until May '77 and probably peaked by 1981. I like this version but can't up vote it.

I've been a huge fan of this show(1/2 Step, Straw, TMNS, Stephen, Wharf Rat, NFA, Truckin') - even before I learned it was my father's first show. I agree this Straw is tighter than previous night but think 11/1/77 Detroit wins the month.
