Very smoking version that's a fair representation of the entire show. Great energy all night!

It's just played really well. The entire show is good but nothing better than an A-. Show was heavy in my rotation in youth. A+ SBD. Nice CRS opener!

Played in hyper speed and everything still sounds just exactly perfect. A great way to end a set in any era

Damn! Unhealthy JG really kicks ass sometimes! Excellent bouncy >, Jer sings along in 'laid down last night.' verse - Rider is simply out for blood!

Bird Song

There's just a litte cheesy chriping synth...outside of that this Bird is jumpy, agressive, and probably cracked my top 5

I did cause of that sick Jerry riff at the end. If you listen to most Staggers from '78 lots of them are quite equal to 12/16. 5/12/79 is the best due to the blissful ~2 minute jam that wraps it up. I don't know the exact length but it's without question the longest Stagger outro. So psychedelic.

Double post, just listen and drool.

This is the band's best performance of this song and it's not even close. Screw 12/16/78.
Estimated Prophet

Field House - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

This should have at least a dozen votes. Easily top Estimated of the year. Madness. Listen to this show and vote up 85% of songs played. It's only fair.
Not Fade Away

The Sportatorium

Oozes with Spring '78 energy. Ace keeps the slide in his pocket for the most time and plays some funky riffs that make the body move as Jerry plays for an audience in Mars.
