If I ever get to joyfully skip to my destination I'd hear this theme en route. Relentless yet not mean/crunchy like previous year's IAON greats.

8+ minutes of twitching and dodging. This show is easily strongest most complete of Godchaux Winter '79

Bob Weir guitar at it's best. This needs more votes.

Nothing from '82-'90 comes even close to this. Jerry gives the cyclone state one hell frenzied whirlwind to end the jam!

This one needs more love. Just watch Bruce trying to keep up. Weir's guitar playing is A+ on this - love those trumpet licks!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Field House - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Just try to ignore those sweet repetitive licks during transition into Fire. As much as I dig this S>F, the Scarlet is pretty standard - this S>Fit might not even crack the top 5 for the year(4/16, 4/24, 5/11, 11/18, and 12/31)This Fire is great for Donna and Bobby slide guitar fans. Have no shame admitting that this show just might be my #1
