The recent talk of 5/7/78 BP got me on a kick and as much as I love everything about 5/7/78 this BP has something RPI is missing

Killer version(ignore opening flub) I will no longer stand for the neglection of this MONSTER of a show. Way better than 11/20, sorry ;)

It's RPI '78, so deserves consideration. The crowd might have been light but they go nuts. Maybe 4/12/78 isn't only windmill Jerry US Blues. Ace kills

Considering it's '87, this one is very well played. Great Bobby riffs to close it out.

Could be a top 5 for '78 - I think it probably features the fastest Jerry playing/best of '78 Keith. CHECK IT

^Someone in band gives positive reinforcement after a killer BTW from 6/14/91. For the contrary check out Garcia after LLR 12/30/78, paraphrasing: "Weir you started that thing off so fucking slow man, so slow'....'I'll start it even slower next time'

Jerry does go nuts around 3:37-4:51.Fact checked .Maybe Silver medal winner of first set. Brent being his usual fall '79 self. Gold goes to freaky CRS to start show. This is a really strong show wish Bobby's guitar wasn't buried in the mix.

Gomorrah's little brother. I love this version and the killer Throwin' that follows. Let me show how I love it, vote up or not? I got to see this song performed by DSO back in '09 in Ithaca for their 2000th show. I was in the ~10-20% of the audience who actually recognized the song, lost my shit during the opening riff and it almost brought me to tears - believe it or not.
