Probably my favorite '86 show and 2nd hottest song of the night behind killer Straw to end set 1

Jerry's tone this night sounds like a howling elephant, translating into excellent rocker of a Sugar Mags

Pretty standard for the era (77-78) but IMO it still crushes any version from the 80s

During the jam Jerry cycles between power chords and sick noodling, it's played so well they played it again their next show.

Love it - used to be down on '86 but i'm really starting to get comfortable
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

Tower Theatre

God damn this is the perfect tempo for this tune. Don't let the mostly mellow vibe here consume you - it ends in a rage right before the WBYGN jam.

Cuca - Been checking out a lot of your recs lately and you definitely are on the same page as me. '84 isn't a great year for this song but Ace(man does he play some creative/crunchy riffs) and Phil drive this one while I hate to say it, Jerry is just kind of background music. Still a very cool version!
Greatest Story Ever Told

It's rare I agree with top 5 versions on this site but this one can't be denied between Jerry's intergalactic jamming, optimum Keith and machine gun Bobby at the end
