Very smoking version that's a fair representation of the entire show. Great energy all night!

It's just played really well. The entire show is good but nothing better than an A-. Show was heavy in my rotation in youth. A+ SBD. Nice CRS opener!

Played in hyper speed and everything still sounds just exactly perfect. A great way to end a set in any era

Damn! Unhealthy JG really kicks ass sometimes! Excellent bouncy >, Jer sings along in 'laid down last night.' verse - Rider is simply out for blood!

There's just a litte cheesy chriping synth...outside of that this Bird is jumpy, agressive, and probably cracked my top 5

Jerry and Phil are doing those things very well. Then you have Keith ringing his little bell at the right times and Ace is dialed in on 'sharpening swords' in the echo chamber.

I've read reports about the crowd being very light this night and that some heads were able to lay down and day dream next to the stage. '78 ticket sales...EDIT...I was confusing this show with one of the April shows either 4/16 WV and 4/21 Kentucky.. There's a take a step back right after opening Straw, this show was probably oversold, in low capacity venue, and located conveniently along the tracks those savage herds of heads historically abused in the Northeast

Anything from RPI '78 automatically gets an upvote from me. 5778 was my ATM # for years. I have no qualms about declaring 5/7/78 as my 'favorite show'.....What did you think of the FOTD, Cuca?

Not just the hottest JS of '86 but hottest JS from the 80s (excluding '80-'81)

Promontory Rider/Tiger Rose(Hunter), Deal and Midnight Moonlight are my highlights of this night. 1980 JGB was HOT!
