Probably my favorite '86 show and 2nd hottest song of the night behind killer Straw to end set 1

Jerry's tone this night sounds like a howling elephant, translating into excellent rocker of a Sugar Mags

Pretty standard for the era (77-78) but IMO it still crushes any version from the 80s

Jack Straw

During the jam Jerry cycles between power chords and sick noodling, it's played so well they played it again their next show.

This is easily the hardest rocking All Over Now
Weather Report Suite

Maybe my favorite show from '73. I definitely like the noises the guitars make while packing up the harmonic chorus that leads into LIG. Usually Jack Straws prior to '77 lack variety for my tastes but the one from 12.12.73 has sweet licks during fine verse "Jack straw from Wichita cut his buddy down "sweet licks from Jerry" And dug.....repeat

Great version but my three go to sugar cubes are 12/27/77, 10/12/83 and 8/30/80 Luckily CRS is one of few songs I can tolerate from all eras and never get bored of it.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

What''s the difference between a frog? Slightly less than the popularity of a killer 10/31/79

To me this is easily a top ten version
