Supplication!!! I know Keith is playing cheesy bullshit - maybe that's why the other 5 guys are on fire?

Sloppy show over all - here's the outlier , it's got that undeniable Jan '78 smoky flavor

Their lost sense of tempo leaves me off balance dancing. This one is very abusive, as it will continue to slap you in the face with a cutesy, bright and bouncy riff until Jerry or Bobby fans their guitar to make it sound like an electronic children's toy and then Jack Straw cuts his buddy down. The show pales in comparison to the tour;s multiple rippers. (4/22(silver), 5/3 5/7, 5/8, 5/9(gold medal) and my bronze goes to 5/12.

Despite it not being able to hang with other Straws during the tour it's still a great version and way more exciting than anything pre-haitus and versions played outside 77-82 heat bubble

Definitely more intense than any version outside of the '77-'83 Jackie cacoon. Although 6/6/91 and 9/6/91 are both pretty intense thanks to BruceVince and MIDI Bobby.

i consider 10/18/83 the 'last great' Jack Straw, To my ears the song lacked/lost inspiration and fire during 71-74 and after '77- 10/18/83. My favorite Portland, ME straw is 5/13/79. Much more laid back and focused and fun, but doesn't peak nearly like this one

Not crazy for early Jack Straws but love this one for being the first and performed at the U of Minnesota(too bad it wasn't at William's Arena_ - i'm a life long fan of Gopher football and basketball .
