So Many Roads
Oct. 1, 1994
Boston Garden
This is the best version i have ever heard. The band has the magic this evening. This is arguably the best first set of the era with just Vince on keyboards. Fiery and passionate singing from Jerry and the band backs him up wonderfully. I remember getting this tape around 1996-97, was my favorite 1994 show back then, and still is among my top 2 or 3 for the year. This is part of that marvelous 30 trips around the sun boxed set.
Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
Oct. 1, 1994
Boston Garden
I just listened to this show from the 30 trips set. This is fantastic, Phil having phun and sounding great. This is a joyous treat. Love the "so what" from Phil after the soon hit the harder stuff line. This is definitive to me, certainly the best version post Brent Mydland done by the band.

Best i have heard, Brent is truly on fire driving the band in a nice bluesy rock and roll way. Great song for Brent phans.
