Spank this one with BD - follows a Wicked Messenger (not LOA flavor) but still hot to see.

Sharp and clear as a bell.

Stagger Lee

Shoreline Amphitheatre

Super late era Stagger Lee - Jer's totally on and band is in tempo - Vince jams on the windchimes at the end which is weird but otherwise tight jam.

Jer all over the distortion bends & tonal action to find the range of torqueness needed for a damn fine Loser.

JG carves long lines on the 1st solo then he and Weir tee off completely on the 2nd - electric bamboo.

hahah agree with you both - but there is something endearing about it to me - might be one of the 1st times they played it and there's clearly some more work they needed to do on this but I find it a fun crunchy mess and I am more partial to the early messes of their songs in general than later ones in the 80's and 90's.

Sweltering day out there and they delivered some rippers in anticipation of playing with Bobby D.
Wharf Rat

Philadelphia Civic Center

An alltime favorite and definitive for the early 80's sound - saw it, loved it (whole show crushes). Agree on the church vibe -Seaman's Chapel confessional happening right here...awesome dankness.

band is in super sync and JG just gets after it hard. good call.
