Whole band is jazz cattin’ the shit out of this unlike any other one (ha) I’ve heard. This take is flat out groovy as fuck - not bananas at 120mph on stamps but more like 72mph on a hash buzz. Everyone showcases and Bobby’s rhythm interlude is super cool. So worth the ride!! Really cool musical conversations happening this whole show ( see China>Rider, Bird Song, PITB & He’s Gone in particular) altho I think the Candyman, Ramblin’ and Stella are both notable listens for “standard” structured songs as well.
