Cold Rain and Snow
May 24, 1972
Strand Lyceum

I love all Cold Rains so there’s that - this one has a hefty bottom in a great mix - makes this worth a listen and maybe a solid. I dig it. Check out 4/20/84 and 10/21/71 if you want my two cents and oh yeah the one on Ladies and Gents is just as close to definitive as this one is.
Candyman
Nov. 15, 1972
Oklahoma City Music Hall

When you absolutely, positively need a perfect Candyman- Bobby’s work is heavenly, Jerry’s angelic and fuckit this thing’s just really, really SWEET by my reckoning.
Morning Dew
March 24, 1986
The Spectrum

Still as powerful as a an erupting volcano - this one burns with the white hot heat of feedback on the first solo and then explodes with the rumbling earthquake of Brents Hammond and Jerry’s fanning. Mid 80’s powerhouse.
Caution
Oct. 20, 1968
Greek Theatre - University of California

Live electrical wires were unleashed by the band on each other and the crowd - waves of sonic energy crash through the speakers, the tubes are burning up and the strings are glowing red while Jerry becomes a human tuning fork of silver light and converses with the cosmic whales that are swimming above the stage before turning into the REAL metal machine music - some killer shit right here. Ps I think that's Phil moaning...Pps last time I dosed was D&C Mexico on liquid and it was clean so maybe that's why I understand this so much better now hahahaha. This is outer reaches shit.
Estimated Prophet

Arrowhead Stadium

JG takes this one frontside, boosts the end of the first solo and then cutbacks for a sweet slide along the face before goofy footing on the rideout to the OO. yup.
